 Sandy Honea - Sandy has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 11 years. She is a graduate of Wellness Skills and has always loved new, inventive ways to improve on massage. Sandy has been teaching Hot Stone massage for over 6 years, long before it was the "in" thing. She is the creator of RiverStone massage and has over 900 hours of teaching Continuing Education. Sandy is certified by the State of Texas as a Continuing Education Provider. Every time we hear of a new technique, Sandy has already checked it out. Everyone loves her classes and the way she teaches. Peggy Lamb - Peggy has been practicing massage since 1986 and is Nationally Certified. She received her initial training at the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe and at Wellness Skills in Dallas. She taught at Wellness Skills and is now on the faculty of Texas Healing Arts Institute in Austin. Peggy is certified with the State of Texas as a CEU provider and is approved by the NCBTMB as a continuing education provider under Category A. She brings her eclectic and extensive background into her teaching for an interesting and enlightening learning experience. Jackie Johnson - Jackie is joining our Body Logic team to teach three new classes. Jackie has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 11 years. She graduated from Wellness Skills and has had extensive advanced training. Jackie has taught for the Red Cross for many years and has worked in the medical setting for the past 3 years. She has used and perfected all the techniques that she will be teaching, so you will be learning from one of the best. We are thrilled to have Jackie join our CE team and we are sure you will enjoy her classes. Rick Robinette - We are very excited to have Rick join our team of CE Teachers. Rick's massage therapy educational background began in 1986 as the first independent instructor with the Asten Center of Natural Therapeutics where he taught basic and advanced massage therapy classes for 5 years. In 1994 he established Massage Resources/Professional Health Careers in Dallas, an educational facility for basic and advanced massage therapy. As owner and director, Rick trained staff, developed curriculum, and instructed classes. He also taught at TMI for over 7 years. Rick comes to us with a vase knowledge of massage so you can bet you will leave his CE class with confidence. Mary Husar - Mary has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 18 years. What began as a love for massage and health has grown into a passion for healing the whole person: body, mind, spirit and soul. Mary is a Certified Huna-AlohaTM trainer, and has been honored with the title of 'Kumu' or teacher in this Hawaiian healing tradition. We are very excited to have her teach Lomi-Lomi as one of our Continuing Education classes. Mary has a great passion for Lomi-Lomi and we know that you will feel that love after being in one of Mary's classes. | |
